♥ You have regrets, and always wish it could go back to 'those days' but it time to stop thinking what if and start believing in what can be.
Stop needing and start having. Stop wanting and start being.

a silly little blog about my special life
And a collection of item bought from charity shops and ebay 'Just trying to make something pretty, with other people junk <3'

I recently come across, the idea of recycling, I'm not talking about rubbish or garbage that we through away in our everyday life's. I'm talking about items we believe ourselves are rubbish, but to others they are purely special. I have always been a lover and a rooter of old fashioned pretty little things, nothing in particular. Just bits and bobs that have that special touch about them, a little bit on the quirky side. My granny is also a big fan of collecting items also like this, down in her cellar in her Cornwall house, it is full to brim, with a collection of these items. Before you stop and say, 'Do you mean, a holder?' I do not. There is a fine line between obsession and a hobby, and to me and granny its just a past time which makes us smile. My biggest love of collecting is ceramics, old fashioned vintage, plates, bowls and especially tea cups. Again this was brought on by both my granny and her mother in law, they both own this gorgeous ceramic set. Consisting of over 200 items, includes tea pots, bread bins etc, it is extremely old and in perfect condition and simply beautiful. People may frown upon the idea, that this china set is rarely used, but over the years, accidents have occurred which has diminished the collection and broke my granny heart. Since my great granny died, it has been stored in cabinets above the dining table, for us admire its beauty. Since the age of about four years, I have truly adored this collection, and have begged my granny to have it, in her words 'it shall be yours one day deary' and I will make it my personal mission to see it that way. I do have an advantage, in the fact I am the oldiest grandchild and my mother has been promised the collection. So maybe one day, I can only dream......

Anyway back to my idea on recycling. I have always been quite frighten on the idea of buying from charity shops and eBay, people judging you and not seeing the point. However since an early years my gramps has always taken me to car boot sale, for those who do not know, this is a kind of junk sale in a field, but they are absolutely the most exciting things. You can spend hours trawling through people old things, to find something charming, you love. So I plucked up my courage and started a few months ago every month or so, I gander through the local charity shops for some delightful items and also peep through eBay. I have found some smashers, here are a few of the items.

This tea set is a true beaut, it cost a merely £6.99 from the charity shop PSDA(an animal charity) It consists of 8 tea cups and saucers, 6 cake plates, 4 bowls, 2 middle plates, and 4 large dining plates. It was a long journey back to the car, but it was worth it. This set will be perfect from when I move out of parents house in September.

This next item, is a small bowl or side plate I guess, but its ideal, for a pretty storage for my rings, and it looks gorgeous on my dressing table. This item was from YMCA (a children Charity) It cost £0.99 which is a brilliant prices, compared to what I would of paid for a boring plastic box.

These next two items, are amazing, since the day I purchased them I haven't been without them. I bought these on my first venture into a charity shop, back in September. I was so excited by them, because first I had been looking for winter jumpers like these forever on the high street and nothing was ideal and secondly, the price. I purchased these jumpers for £3 pound each, from St lukes hospice ( a cancer charity). This charity has to be the best one ever, it just like the one out of wildchild, it has a fancy dress section and cultural bit, it so beautiful and it hooked me of the charity shop bandwagon.
